Legal Barriers

From slide number 28 of chapter 9, it is stated about the privacy laws in order to protect the individual privacy. To related with the article, Texas sues Meta for collecting facial recognition data, Meta is being sued by Texas in accusing of collecting the facial recognition data  of tens of millions of state residents for a decade. This feature analyzed people's faces in the photo of Facebook users and including tagging tools in Facebook option. In my opinion, this problem is quite a big concern for everybody because being collecting facial recognition data without any consent from the owner is quite serious issue. With our facial recognition data, whoever has the information on hand can do whatever they want to do. It is quite dangerous when it comes to digital platform that by having the facial information, they can access into our telephone due to the advancement in the technology that we can use our facial information to unlock the phone. Even though Facebook already suspended the facial recognition program, but we still cannot make sure that other platforms such as Instagram that we always post our picture will not have the same problem.

Technological Challenges

From the slide 11 of chapter 9, it is not all countries have quality in accessing information technology infrastructure in order to allow companies to build an the intentional IS. According to the article, an innovative technology for 6G communication networks, it is quite visionary to develop physical components which more than which is expected the most elementary processing functionalities to construct the future communicational systems. However, scientists have overcome the limitations by developed a new waveguide. In my opinion, it is quite interesting in developing the new communication networks, 6G. However, there are a lot of limitation in many countries that the developers have to overcome the problems that might happen in the future. Due to the low advancement in the technology in some countries, they might have problems in using the new communication networks.

 Differences in Payment Mechanisms

From the slide 14 of chapter 9, it is mention in the slide that easy payment for online purchase is expected. When it comes to digital payment, it is changed the way we worked. We used to pay by traditional methods such as cash or cheques. The advancement of technology has changed how we make a payment and including the management in our financial aspects. The rapid growth of digital payment has influenced customers in many ways. They changed customers preferences and expectation, due to the convenience of online shopping which save a lot of time and increase the opportunity for customers to purchase. Moreover, there are new technologies advancement that help to convenience customers by giving access to wide range of service via applications. These apps can be used for transferring, paying bills, and etc. In my opinion, digital payment is quite easy to use. It also convenience for customers that they don't have to carry a lot of cash which might cause them in danger. Moreover, due to the Covid-19, we can use digital payment in order to reduce the risk of infecting the Covid.
